Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Es gibt Alternative aus dem Baumarkt

Habe mir das Lube von Bones mal geholt. Kollege hat das geholt. Gleiche Soße.
Am besten kommt man mit div. Ölen aus.dem.Baumarkt weg.

Heiliger Kleister!

Reds waren ordentlich versifft, dementsprechend gereinigt und anschließend mit diesem Öl hier eingepampert. Läuft alles wieder richtig schön geschmeidig und Speedy Gonzales!

Good, thin bearing oil that seems to do the job

After cleaning the bearings and applying this oil to the bearings- the wheels run really freely.
an immediate improvement on the "pre clean" state of the wheels.
Time will tell, but for now- I am happy and would probably buy again when I need again.

Öl oder nicht Öl

Auf jeden Fall hält die kleine Flasche für einige Lager.
Etwas großzügiger hätte man vielleicht schon sein können. Dosierung ist nicht perfekt, da doch immer etwas daneben geht.

Auf jeden Fall laufen die bearings geschmeidig, darum gehts ja.

Vergleichbar mit der Konkurrenz

Ja, Öl ist nicht gleich Öl, aber letzten Endes sind es nur Nuancen die verschiedene Firmen voneinander entscheiden. Das Produkt ist genau so gut wie z. B. Die Bones Speedcream etc pp, aber auch ein normales Industrieöl würde genau so gut funktionieren wie "spezielle Skateöle". Daher finde ich den Preis deutlich zu teuer, aber das Produkt in seiner Qualität und Funktion sehr sehr zufriedenstellend!
