Depending on the material and style, knitwear is super versatile and can be worn during practically any season of the year. On cold days, thick threads of wool or acrylic will keep you warm while a high collar provides soft comfort, even eliminating the need for a scarf. WASHING AND CARE.
Knitwear should always be washed as cool as possible (max. 30°C) with a gentle wash cycle, or - even better - by hand, so you can enjoy the soft fabric for a long time. A detergent that is not too aggressive and only washing when necessary will also increase the lifespan. Clothes pegs are kind of an enemy of knitwear, as the punctual stress pulls the threads out of shape. It's better to put wet knitwear over a drying rack or a line, or even - if you have the space - spread them out on a towel on the floor.
Especially with natural fibers, it’s possible that small balls of fuzz form on your knitted sweater or cardigan. After a few washes, however, the fabric fibers should be strengthened, and no new fuzz balls should form. You can gently brush or shave off the small balls but be careful not to be too rough or you risk a hole in the fabric.
