Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Geile old School wheels

Hatte die Rollen in schwarz bestellt, und die fahren Mega smooth .

Sehr geil!

Für mich die Beste Rolle fürs Surfskate und Oldschool Decks, besserer Speed als 78a Wheels, besonders auf glatten Untergründen wie Parks viel besseres Fahrgefühl, aber raueres Terrain können sie auch, da sie gut abdämpfen ohne den Kern.
Das wichtigste: Sie haben einen super Sound, man rollt nicht so ganz geräuschlos daher und fühlt super wo man auf dem Boden gerade ist. Besonders bei Slides zaubert der Sound einem ein breites Grinsen ins Gesicht im Vergleich zu den Standard Rollen. Perfektes Verhältnis zwischen Grip und Slide für mich, man weiß intuitiv immer was die Rolle macht und hört es auch, ohne nervig laut zu sein =)

When I was looking for the right replacement wheels for my OG 80s deck, I was hesitant to either try to get a vintage (for a lot of money) or I get a reissue...
Knowing that all the legends from the Bones Brigade rode this and knowing that this is advertised as being the classic from the Golden Age, being practically the same, same material, durometer, looks and design untouched, I made my decision.
This wheel feels and rides exactly the same as the original Rat Bones/Cross Bones/Cubics and the rest from the 80s and I’m so glad that it is reproduced in the same exact way! This way I could buy and OG that is still in production and still carries the same experience and sentiment as back in the Golden Days - and I didn’t have to spend a fortune to get it! This is something that will help you revive the 80s and make it present. Best size and hardness for that 80s style of skating, let it be real street, ramp, park, pool or whatever - as seen in Future Primitive or the Bones Brigade Video Show.
