Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Nicht sehr empfehlenswert

Verarbeitung ist gut und scheint hochwertig, dennoch ist das Tool meiner Meinung nach den Preis nicht wert. Teilweise funktioniert es gar nicht und die Bearings damit leicht rauszuziehen klappt nicht wirklich, es sei denn bei einem sehr weichem Wheel, aber da dürfte es ja seltener Probleme geben. Einfach lieber die Achse nehmen oder eine richtige Presse.

Nur für Lager ohne Spacer

Das Werkzeug macht einen hochwertigen Einruck.
Leider kann es ausschließlich für Lager ohne integriertem Spacer genutzt werden, und auch nur, wenn kein separater Spacer vorhanden ist.

Für Lager mit integriertem Spacer ist der Stift zu kurz. Die beiden Kugeln befinden sich noch im Spacer. So kann das Lager nicht gezogen werden.

Bei Lagern ohne integrierten Spacer aber mit einem separaten Spacer zwischen den Lagern funktioniert das Werkzeug auch nicht, da die Kugeln über Spacer und Lagerschale gleitet. Ein Herausziehen ist nicht möglich.
Einzig für das zweite Lager ist das Werkzeug nutzbar, wenn das Erste Lager + Spacer bereits entfernt wurden.

Praktisch

moinsen,
es ist ein wirklich sehr nützliches Werkzeug. Das Teil hat mir echt oft den Arsch gerettet, da die Kugellager nach `ner Zeit auch älter werden und man sie wieder auf Vordermann bringen muss. Auch beim Anbringen ist es sehr nützlich, da man die Kugellager damit jederzeit herausziehen kann. Sowas braucht man jederzeit, da die Kugellager sehr sehr schwer raus zu bekommen sind. :)

Sehr nützliches Werkzeug. Ich hatte immer Sorge die Bearings beim Wechsel auf den Achsen zu beschädigen, jetzt geht's einfacher :)
