Bones Bearings presents the Reds Big Balls Bearings - ask for them by name!

Classic Bones Reds just aren't fast enough for ya?! Get yourself a set of 'Big Balls'! These precision skate bearings are designed with six inner steel balls instead of the standard seven. The six larger balls give them a higher top speed and improved strength over standard seven ball bearings. Think of the Big Balls as a more affordable option to the beloved Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings!

In addition to the improved strength and top speed, Bones Big Balls are also more resilient to rolling through dirt and grime due to their larger ball size. This enables them to perform longer between cleanings. Cleanings are also quick and simple, thanks to the blue removable shields. Each pack comes with a Bones Reds sticker to put on your board so everyone knows you only skate the best!

Riser Pads

Riser pads are used to increase the distance between the wheels and the deck in order to prevent undesirable contact between the wheels and the deck (wheel bites) when turning.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Tip Top!

Eine Kugel weniger aber dafür größere Kugeln. Zum ersten Mal ausprobiert und nach wie vor zufrieden auf meinem Cruiser-Skateboard. Leider keine Spacer inklusive.

Langlebig

Hatte vorher immer die standard Reds und relativ schnellen Verschleiß. Mit den Big Balls fahre ich jetzt schon mehr als doppelt so lange und kein einziges Lager ist kaputt.

Bones RED Big Balls

Meine zweiten Bones Kugelllager. Anfangs im neuen Zustand kein gefühlter Unterschied in der Geschwindigkeit zu den Standard REDs. Haben aber ein wenig mehr Laufruhe beim Fahren. Wahrscheinlich der Effekt durch die größeren Kugeln in den Lagern. Diese benutze ich in den Powell Nano Cubics.

Montati su un surfskate proprio per la loro caratteristica di avere un numero inferiore di sfere ma di dimensioni leggermente maggiori. L'impressione è che la scorrevolezza sia maggiore rispetto agli altri cuscinetti e che la tavola tenga effettivamente un'inerzia maggiore, non li ho provate sulla classica tavola da skate perchè non ne ho avuto ancora occasione ma immagino che vadano benissimo anche su questo tipo di tavola . Assolutamente consigliati
