The TSG Junior Set merges high-end manufacturing with the best possible defence for the vulnerable limbs of new recruits! Impact-absorbing EVA and tough, durable PE hardshell combine to ensure optimum protection from both impact and abrasion. Our all-around Velcro straps guarantee perfect fit and comfort, and versatile design ensures that for the very littlest of early enthusiasts, our elbow pads can also be worn on little knees.

Protection:

EVA provides great shock absorbing properties, stress-crack resistance and low-temperature toughness. It can be used in multi layers and backed with hard shell caps for a solid performance.
High impact strength and low friction caps for use on rough and concrete ground.
EN 14120:2003+A1:2007 Level 1 - Protective gear complies with the European standard for body protection in roller and gliding sports.

Pre-Shaped Design - The pre-shaped body protection comes with a pre-bended articulated design for unrestricting wearing comfort and superior fit.

Riser pads are used to increase the distance between the wheels and the deck in order to prevent undesirable contact between the wheels and the deck (wheel bites) when turning.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.
