After 3 years in development, Titus presents the 5.75 High Lites Truck!

Our latest Titus Lites truck features several new design elements, including a revolutionary hanger design not found on any other truck! The 5.75 High Lites Truck are constructed using a super strong and lightweight aluminum alloy that's crafted using an improved heat treatment process. These two improvements alone have resulted in significant improvements in durability, attested by the Titus Lites team.

The 5.75 High Lites Truck have been designed from the ground-up so that every element of the truck provides optimal performance. Starting from the baseplate, a new mold has been created that eliminates all possible excess weight without sacrificing strength. The hanger is connected to the baseplate using a hollow kingpin combined with premium-quality Bones Hardcore Bushings with a "medium" hardness. These bushings also use a weight-reducing flat washer.

Finally, our new, revolutionary hanger design. Not only is the hanger super lightweight and designed to prevent the kingpin from hanging up during grinds, but the ends of the hanger have a "conical" cut combined with an integrated spacer ring. This means that after years of grinds, the hanger won't be ground down to a cut that grinds into your bearings. Plus, the integrated spacer ensures that your wheels keep the perfect distance from the hanger.

Riser Pads

Riser pads are used to increase the distance between the wheels and the deck in order to prevent undesirable contact between the wheels and the deck (wheel bites) when turning.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Super Achsen, die Bushings sind für mich zu weich

Die Achsen sind wirklich super. Ich fahre allerdings auch mal mit mehr Speed auf der Strasse. Dafür sind die Bushings zu weich. Ich habe mir jetzt harte, zylindrische Bushings und Riserpads bestellt. Vielleicht sind meine Anforderungen speziell und die Achsen trotz der Höhe nicht für große Rollen gedacht. Wer mit kleinen Rollen unterwegs und auf Wendigkeit bedacht ist, für den sind die Bushings vermutlich passend.

Gute Achsen, schlechte Bushings

Mit den Achsen bin ich sehr zufrieden, aber...
...die Bushings sind extrem weich und die Unterlegscheiben sind zu klein, sodass die Bushings bei etwas festeren Anziehen über die Washer rutschen und dann reissen. Die Bushings haben daher nur 2 Sessions gehalten. Preis/ Leistungsverhältniss ansonsten sehr gut.
Verbesserungsvorschlag: Härte der Bushings wählbar/ andere Washer

Lenk- und Grindverhalten der Achse ist gut.
Gewicht bewegt sich im Mittelfeld: Krux ist leichter, Independent schwerer, Titus irgendwo im Mittelfeld.
Leider sind nach dem 3. Mal skaten die Bushings gerissen. Zwar gab es schnell und unkompliziert Ersatz von Titus, aber wenn man mit den " besten Bushings am Markt" wirbt, sollte genau das nicht passieren...

Beste Achsen weit und breit. Preis/Leistung top!
