Trucks
Information about the correct skateboard truck width:
All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.
Truck Height:
Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:
Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.
Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.
High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Gutes Einsteigerboard
Ich hab das Blackbird Owl jetzt seit ca. 8-9 Sessions im Einsatz und nach 7 Sessions setzte an den Fronttrucks eine Delamination der Lagen ca. in der Mitte der Brettstärke ein. Mittlerweile löst sich das Deck schon bis in die Nose auf. Wird also leider schon wieder Zeit für ein neues Deck, obwohl ich mit 65kg und quasi nur Flat/ bissl Kicker usw, keine Boardslides, nur Grinds (also keine großen Momente aufs Deck wirkend) nicht wirklich große Belastung drauf gegeben habe. Trucks gefallen mir, werde ich weiternutzen, Bearings gleich zu Beginn ausgetauscht gegen Reds, die original verbauten haben Recht viel Widerstand. Rollen für mein Gefühl iO, lassen sich auf Beton im Park gut handeln
Als Einsteigerboard für meine Tochter gekauft. Sie kommt super damit klar. Für street sind meines Erachtens die Rollen etwas zu hart aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.
