Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Rails

Die Rib Bones finde ich am besten von allen Rails.
In schwarz geholt mal passend zum Board👌🏻

Meine favourite Rails

Habe mehrere Paar Rib Bones im Gebrauch, einmal an meinem Powell Peralta oldschool deck und dann an meinem normalen popsicle deck. Habe erst vor einem halben Jahr begonnen Rails an meinem normalen Deck zu verwenden und mir sagt es wirklich zu. Butterweiche slides an rails, copings und curbs von jeglicher Beschaffenheit. Am oldschool Cruiser sind sie eher Deko und für Grabs. Lassen sich hervorragend biegen und an die Deck Form anpassen. Einziges Manko ist, dass die Holzschrauben gerne mal ausreißen und man im dümmsten Fall die Rails nach innen / außen versetzen muss um sie erneut zu verschrauben. Mein Tipp ist die Schrauben von Hand mit einem Schraubendreher zu verschrauben und nicht vorzubohren um ausreißen zu vermeiden.

Gleich Vorweg.
Ich habe noch Andrere Skateboards mit Rails (Pig & Welcome Candy).
Die Rails sind Prima Verarbeitet.
Im Gegensatz zu den Pig Rails ist die Kontaktfläche schön plan (Pig Rails sind auf der Schraubfläche eingefallen).
Ausserdem, sehen die Rails aus,wie aus dem Vollen gefräst.(die Welcome Candys haben nach kurzer Zeit Stauch-riefen und Vervormungen)
Auch sind die Rails etwas dicker als die von Pig (bestens für high Concave).
Sie lassen sich schön smooth sliden übrigens.

Die Holzschrauben sind Flachkopf Schrauben und besser als die von Pig(Senkschrauben) oder die pisseligen Schrauben von Welcome(auch Senkkopf aber viel zu klein).
Mit 1,5-2 mm Bohrer vorbohren.)
Doch ich würde jedem empfehlen, wer Rails verbaut, zwischen den Rails & dem Deck ein beidseitiges Klebeband (kein billiges Teppich-Klebeband) oder 2K-Kleber (bekommt man leider nicht mehr ab) einzusetzen.

Wer weniger ausgeben möchte, dem kann ich nur die Pig Rails ans Herz legen (Die von Titus hab ich noch nicht getestet).
