As the successor to the surprisingly popular D3 from 1999, this model still enjoys a unique cult status. The Osiris D3 2001 didn’t just set new standards in terms of technology. From the very beginning, its bold design with the massive lace eyelets polarized opinion yet defined an entire era—even beyond the boundaries of the skateboarding scene. It’s no coincidence that this legend remains one of the best-selling skate shoes of all time. As requested by countless fans, Osiris has now brought this classic back into its lineup!
There’s really nothing more to say about the D3 2001’s look—you either love it or you don’t. What’s undeniable, however, is that this shoe offers nearly every conceivable technical refinement when it comes to durability, padding, and cushioning. The thickly padded tongue, the highly abrasion-resistant synthetic leather side panels, and the nearly indestructible toe cap make a statement right from the first glance! The interior of the shoe is every bit as impressive. It features mesh side panels and an ergonomic, generously padded upper that guarantees an optimal fit for every foot. A special 8-point ventilation system made of mesh panels ensures the necessary airflow.
But the technical highlight of the Osiris D3 2001 is likely its sole construction. An anti-impact system with multiple helium chambers extends the entire length of the sole, turning this shoe into a true fortress ready to withstand any impact. The stabilizing midsole and an EVA insole also contribute to the shoe’s excellent cushioning performance. And of course, there’s no shortage of grip thanks to the Osiris Supergrip outsole.
