Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Achsstift mehrfach gebrochen.

Hallo zusammen,
ich bin im Juni 2024 zu Indy gewechselt, nachdem ich jahrelang ausschließlich Venture gefahren bin, und rate vom Kauf dieser Achsen ab!

Ähnlich wie bei einer weiteren Rezension ist mir seit Juni 2024 zwei mal der Achsstift gebrochen. Beide Male sind die Achsen an der gleichen Stelle im Flat bei Switch und Regular Varial Heelflips (1 x hinten, 1 x vorne) gebrochen. Für 69,99 € pro Achse ist das eine absolute Frechheit und ja, eine schlechte Charge kann mal dabei sein, aber da es sich hierbei offensichtlich nicht um Einzelfälle handelt, sollte man sich bei Independent mal fragen was hier schief läuft.

TITUS hat beim ersten Mal den Einkaufspreis einer Achs in Form eines Gutscheins erstattet. Für die zweite Achse ist das Ticket noch offen, von daher großes Lob bis hierhin an TITUS für die Kulanz.

Finger weg!

Schlechteste Achsen meines Lebens. Hab sie innerhalb von einem Jahr dreimal gebrochen und ich wiege 64 kg.
Titus hat mir jedes Mal umsonst eine neue zugeschickt, daher ein großes Lob dafür ?
Aber kauft diese Achsen nicht!

Finger weg!

Ein schlechter Witz

In acht Wochen drei Achsen Stifte gebrochen bei flat Tricks. Ich habe die Indy Titan ausprobiert weil bei den hollows sich immer der Achstift verschoben hat und bin sehr enteuscht. Das ma ne kinkpin bricht OK , aber in 8 Wochen bei drei Achsen der Achstift und das jedesmal fast an der selben Stelle geht gar nicht. Ich habe die Achsen nicht bei Titus bestellt, habe von meinem local Skateshop auch nach der ersten gebrochen Achse durch den Vertrieb zwei neue bekommen aber 4 Wochen später habe ich wieder nur eine ganze Achse.
Eventuell hatte ich ja auch ne scheiß charge erwischt aber drei ma der ach so stabile Titan stift der bricht ich weiß ja nicht...
