Marana x Michelin

The Marana is considered one of the most solid and long-lasting skate shoes on the market. However, Etnies set out to make the shoe even better and took the chance to benefit from the expertise of famous tire manufacturer Michelin. Thanks to a special rubber compound commonly used for car tires, the new outsole used for the Marana x Michelin lasts up to four times longer than the regular one while maintaining all the qualities of a modern cupsole designed for skating. The outsole tread was directly adapted from all-terrain tires and offers the best grip you can get. So it's no surprise that rippers such as Chris Joslin are already enthusiastic about this shoe!
These improvements on the Marana outsole were actually driven by the already remarkable lifetime of the upper material. The Etnies Marana x Michelin is made from durable suede and comes with the same seamless, reinforced and rubber-printed toecap that is known to last for ages. For a good fit and comfort, the tongue and collar are nicely padded with breathable mesh. The STI Evolution foam midsole and the PU-insole provide excellent cushioning and heel support which makes the shoe so attractive for high impact skating. Altogether, the Etnies Marana x Michelin offers highest skate performance and maximum durability in a simple and timeless design!
