Super7 – collectible figures from San Francisco

Super7 makes action figures and collectibles, many of them featuring bands and musicians from punk, metal and hip-hop. The San Francisco company was founded in 2001 by designer Brian Flynn and started out as a magazine about vintage Japanese toys. The magazine introduced its own toys in its very first issues, and soon after, the first shop opened in Japantown. Science fiction, monster movies, comics, punk rock and skateboarding still shape the designs today.

ReAction Figures and ULTIMATES!

ReAction Figures are 3¾-inch figures in the style of late-’70s and ’80s action figures. In 2012 Super7 used the line to bring back figures for the film “Alien”, whose prototypes had been developed in 1979 but never produced. The bigger ULTIMATES! have more articulation and plenty of accessories. Then there are the Super Cycles, which put characters like Charlie Brown on wheels.

Here you’ll find mostly music figures, from the Beastie Boys and Motörhead to hip-hop greats, plus Peanuts characters and display stands for ReAction Figures. Many lines come out in several “waves”, so whole bands come together over time.
