The great-grandparents of brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1906. There, they settled in a small village named Herschel. Three generations of the Cormack family have lived in Herschel, a small town surrounded by large fields and hills.

The Cormack brothers founded the Herschel Supply Company in Vancouver in 2009, just over a century after their grandfather settled in Herschel. Influenced by the hometown of their ancestors and the desire for simple, practical bags, Jamie and Lyndon began developing premium-quality bags to meet their needs.
