Miniramp Jam 2025

TITUS, Vans, and GIZEH invite you to the next battle at Skaters' Palace!

If there is one event in Germany that can take place in any weather, it is definitely the annual Miniramp Jam at the Skaters' Palace in Münster. What makes the contest so special is the consistently impressive international field of competitors. From Berlin to Birmingham, from Vienna to Brussels, top-ranked skateboarders from all corners of Europe found their way to the Westphalian metropolis again in 2025. Unfortunately, all representatives from our northern neighbor Denmark had to recover from injuries this year, but it was still set to be a textbook “shred fest.” Let's get ready to rumble!

In addition to the Danes, who are usually always there, some German rippers also had other commitments on Saturday, November 8, 2025, or were unable to stand on a skateboard—2025 seems to have been a really tough year for injuries. So, the organizers decided to invite some skateboarders who had never been guests before. Most people probably know Tyler Edtmayer from bowl parks or the halfpipe, but that doesn't mean he can't ride mini ramps. He brought along up-and-coming vert ripper August Junge, also from Berlin and likely to be a force to be reckoned with on the vert ramp in five years' time. The fact that the two of them were there greatly enriched the contest and, conversely, Tyler's wallet – at least in retrospect!

In addition to the two Berliners, the Austrian OG duo Santino Exenberger and Loco Papi also made it to Münster, as did Alex Hallford from Birmingham and the Belgian crew led by Jeroen Bruggeman. All in all, some of Europe's best mini ramp rippers were at the start, and nothing stood in the way of a great event. After a short riders' meeting with announcer Rob Rolaux, the event kicked off at around 7 p.m., and the riders' first lines already gave a glimpse of the high level of skill that would be on display that evening. Santino Exenberger's introduction run alone was supernatural. Blunts and noseblunts in every variation imaginable, plus fast grinds across the entire width of the ramp – it was a feast for the eyes. Tyler also demonstrated that he can skate slightly “smaller” transitions with high airs on the extension, where he casually pulled off a tailgrab 540 out of nowhere – landing the “first ever” 540 on the ramp!

After the 45-minute “Jam-in-Order” session, there was a short break during which the hard-working helpers from the TITUS Retail department, namely Tim and David, set up the pool ladder for the first Best Trick event. For Tyler, the ladder seemed to be virtually non-existent as he flew over it with another 540 and every other grab imaginable. Santino performed a mind-melting hippie jump to rock ‘n’ roll slide, but in the end it was Mika Möller who set the judges' hearts alight with a “back truck bash Indy grab to fakie” (or whatever you call it) – and claimed victory on this obstacle.

The “Cash for Tricks” sessions on three obstacles followed next, namely on the bench on one platform, the “wheel of fortune wall ride,” and the wall ride extension. The plan was to “rake through” one obstacle after another, i.e., to keep riding as long as there were bills available, but due to a minor communication error, things got a little chaotic for 5 minutes. The riders didn't really care, and some of them managed to pull off a “cash-worthy trick” on each of the 3 obstacles in one run – but photographing this was extremely difficult. Anyway, shortly afterwards the money ran out and it's really amazing how consistent all the guys were. Hardly any tricks took more than three attempts, if that, and Alex Hallford more than deserved to take home the MVP title. Everyone was happy with all the other results too, so nothing stood in the way of a boozy evening in the riders' quarters. Thanks to all the helpers and sponsors, namely TITUS, Vans, Toy Machine, Warsteiner, and GIZEH, the Skaters' Palace, MC Rob Roulaux, and the judges, as well as all the riders and spectators! Hopefully, we'll all see each other again in a year!
