The shoe company etnies belongs to skateboarding like the wheels under the board and is the oldest pure skate shoe company. Founded in France in 1986 and relocated to the USA a short time later, etnies was the first company to produce a pro shoe with the Natas (Kaupas). 45 years later, etnies still plays an important role in skateboarding and, in collaboration with tire manufacturer Michelin, has brought a shoe onto the market that is unparalleled in terms of durability. But is that really the case? A not insignificant question in this day and age, especially if you skate every day.

TITUS Weartest - etnies "Marana X Michelin"
Longest lasting weartest of all times?
Long-time etnies team rider Deniel Cramer is one such skater. Anyone who knows Deniel knows that “the boy really does skate every day”! And so we at TITUS, in collaboration with etnies, put the shoe through a “real” wear test. “Real” because we met Deniel for the first time in Bochum in mid-April. At that time, it started to rain and later even snowed. Deniel then went to Mallorca for three weeks and we met up again just in time for the arrival of summer at the beginning of May. Deniel rode the shoe every day for a whole 3 weeks and the result proves it: The Marana X Michelin is indeed perhaps the most durable skate shoe you can buy at the moment!
