When I was looking for the right replacement wheels for my OG 80s deck, I was hesitant to either try to get a vintage (for a lot of money) or I get a reissue...
Knowing that all the legends from the Bones Brigade rode this and knowing that this is advertised as being the classic from the Golden Age, being practically the same, same material, durometer, looks and design untouched, I made my decision.
This wheel feels and rides exactly the same as the original Rat Bones/Cross Bones/Cubics and the rest from the 80s and I’m so glad that it is reproduced in the same exact way! This way I could buy and OG that is still in production and still carries the same experience and sentiment as back in the Golden Days - and I didn’t have to spend a fortune to get it! This is something that will help you revive the 80s and make it present. Best size and hardness for that 80s style of skating, let it be real street, ramp, park, pool or whatever - as seen in Future Primitive or the Bones Brigade Video Show.
