Falus Skateboards and The Love of Failure

Our friends in Holland are known to have a lot going on when it comes to skateboarding. Right in the mix is the crew from Falus Skateboards! Since 2004, the group has been shredding the Dutch streets and beyond, bringing a good dose of humor to the scene with funny and rad board graphics.

The fact that they don't take themselves too seriously is clear just from the name of the brand. In 2003, the Falus founders were living together in Barcelona. But, even in the European skateboard mecca, not everything always goes smoothly. "Falus" was established when the two friends used the word as an expression for a lame trick or situations where something goes wrong while skating. Apparently the name is still quite relevant because according to their own statement, the fire never really got rolling due to somewhat of a lack of effort. In the meantime, two friends became four, but the motto hasn’t changed: Have fun and do what you do best, fail!
