Surfing the streets with longboards

In our longboard onlineshop we offer you the best selection of longboard decks, longboard trucks, longboard wheels, and complete ready-to-ride longboards. Longboard beginners and longboard professionals alike can find everything they're looking for in our longboard onlineshop. You can easily compile your individual setup with all required components. Alternatively, you can choose from one of the countless complete ready-to-ride longboards.

But which kind of longboard from our longboard onlineshop is the right one for you?

Freeride

Freeride longboards are the "everything goes"-boards in our longboard onlineshop. A freeride longboard deck is typically a hybrid with a nose and a tail to perform tricks. At the same time, it offers stability for high-speed downhill runs. Longboard sessions in a parking structure or on a hill are not only possible but really fun with a freeride longboard deck. You reduce speed by sliding so that you smoothly fly through the turn. In between you can do some manuals or G-turns, so it doesn't get boring.

Downhill

Downhill longboards are made for adrenaline-junkies. A high-speed run down a mountain requires absolute control, since reaching 100km/h or more is no problem at all. Downhill decks have a lower and wider standing surface, in order to maintain control at high speeds. The body weight of the rider also is also a factor when it comes to stabilizing the board at high speeds. Of course, you can find appropriate safety gear for downhill skating, such as helmets and slide gloves, in our longboard onlineshop.

Carving

Carving longboards are not easy to handle. It requires a certain amount of flow, speed, and the right turns. To control the speed you either make sharp or wide turns, similar to snowboarding. Wheels with a particularly strong grip, trucks with a smaller turning circle, and a longboard deck with cutouts are a must if you want to be able to make really sharp turns.

Cruiser

Cruiser longboards are the ones most similar to skateboards. They have noses and tails, and, just like skateboards, you can see them mostly in the city. In urban sceneries, a cruiser longboard is the perfect companion. An ollie up or down the curb is no problem at all.

Dancing

Dancing longboards go back to freestyle skateboarding of the 1980' mixed with elements of modern street skateboarding. Dancing is mainly about tricks and style - cross steps, long nose manuals, or old school kick-flips are some of the tricks you see most often. Dancing requires longer boards which are easy to control.

If you are having difficulties finding the right board for you in our Titus longboard onlineshop, you can always ask the guys in our service center.
