Quasi Skateboards

Chad Browers, ex-team-manager for Alien Workshop, founded his own deck company in 2015: Mother Collective. The brand enjoyed immense success, particularly online. A company with the same name turned out to not be such a fan, though, and four months and a court case later Mother was looking like it was about to be history. That turned out to be no problem for a label selling stylish, high-quality skateboard decks produced in the renowned PS Stix Woodshop in the States, though.

From Mother to Quasi

Browers obviously needed a new name for his sick skate label. He decided on the name Quasi Skateboards for the simple reason that the word begins with a Q and has five letters, making it easy to remember. Oh yeah, and it had nothing to do with the name “Mother”. Chad Bowers just wants to support his team riders and make dope skate vids. That’s it. A full-length video is on the way, and everybody’s excited to see what the guys are really capable of.

The Quasi Skate Team

Quasi Skateboards only have three current team riders: Tyler Bledsoe, Gilbert Crockett and Jake Johnson. More are supposedly to come.
